Get a taste of the Andalucian ambience and have a stroll on the streets with their white chalked houses of the well-known Pueblos Blancos (white villages), like Mijas Pueblo, Frigiliana, Ronda, Grazalema, Gaucín and Arcos de la Frontera. Málaga is an extraordinary museum city. Visit Picasso´s Birth house, the Carmen Thyssen museum or the recently in 2015 opened Centre Pompidou Málaga. Explore the CAC Málaga with its modern art or visit the Russian State museum. Stroll the streets of the Soho district in Málaga and be amazed by the huge wall graffiti’s and visit some smaller galleries.
On the road to Ronda you will enjoy the amazing route along the inland. Once you arrive in Ronda, you don´t want to miss the famous bridge the ´Puente Nuevo´ with its impressive deep gorge, but also the ´Puente Viejo´should not be missed whilst you are visiting this beautiful town. Go and see one of the oldest bullrings of Spain or dwell in the past when you visit the Arabic baths.
You can smell the myrrh all over the streets and hear the melancholic music from far away. Almost monthly there will be processions. Try and see one and become part of this unique tradition. Especially the processions of the famous Semana Santa, the week before Easter, are very impressive. Several brotherhoods carry along the streets their enormous elaborately decorated thrones on which you´ll see the statues of saints.
