You can smell the myrrh all over the streets and hear the melancholic music from far away. Almost monthly there will be processions. Try and see one and become part of this unique tradition. Especially the processions of the famous Semana Santa, the week before Easter, are very impressive. Several brotherhoods carry along the streets their enormous elaborately decorated thrones on which you´ll see the statues of saints.
