Antigua Casa de Guardia

This atmospheric tavern dates from 1840 and is the oldest bar in Málaga. The peeling custard-coloured paintwork, black-and-white photographs of local boy Picasso and elderly bar staff look fittingly antique. Try the dark brown, sherry-like seco (dry) Málaga wine or the romantically named lágrima tranañejo (very old tear).
