Metro Málaga
Metro de Málaga has two lines designed to offer greater speed and comfort when travelling between some of the most important points in the city. Both lines come together at the El Perchel station, from where you can also access the AVE, the Media Distancia, Regionales and Cercanías network, as well as the intercity bus station, and in Guadalmedina. For its part, line 1 reaches the heart of the city thanks to the Atarazanas station, located in Alameda Principal. The Málaga Metro serves as a link, both for the Málaga Bus Station and for the María Zambrano Train-AVE Station, with multiple neighbourhoods of the city.
METRO MÁLAGA SCHEDULES
- Monday to Thursday: from 06:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Fridays and holiday eves: from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.
- Saturdays: from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.
- Sundays and holidays: from 07:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
However, the Málaga Metro extends its normal hours during the Christmas season, Easter Week and the August Fair (Fería de Málaga), as well as when special events are held in the city (such as the White Night) or Unicaja Basketball matches.
